Since 2011, The Cabin Company has been dedicated to crafting bespoke timber structures and carpentry tailored to your needs. From versatile garden offices and practical potting sheds to contemporary annexes, stunning glamping accommodation, art studios, and sustainable family homes, our expertise and passion shines through in every project.

   We are so thrilled with our beautiful cabin.  The process from start to finish was so smooth and professional - we were kept informed every step of the way.  Jo was amazing with the planning aspect of the project - not an easy feat!  The build of the structure was so well organised and completed so quickly and to such a high standard.   Such a pleasure to have the team here for the 3 weeks from delivery to hand over!  Not only have we gained a fabulous cabin for our friends and family to stay in, here in Cornwall, but we have gained new friends in Ben and Jo.

   We were so lucky to find Ben & Jo to build a cabin for my mum to live in. Everything was taken care of from planning to completion, all we had to do was the groundworks and some decision making. The cabin is beautifully crafted and looks fabulous in it's location - even though we have work to do to make the surrounding area beautiful to match! Mum moved in a few days ago and keeps saying how happy & at home she feels there.    Ben and Jo were amazing to work with. Right from the start they really listened to what we wanted to achieve from our new 'barn', which was replacing a very derelict structure at the back of our garden. From there Ben came up with some great ideas and options and was always really positive, despite the tight nature of our site and the other logistical challenges we faced. Jo was always responsive and helpful with loads of great suggestions as well which really helped to ease the process along.

Our 'barn' is so much more than we could ever have dreamed of and we use it more than we though we would, primarily because it is such a beautiful space that you just want to go and hang out in there. The craftsmanship is exquisite and the attention to detail ever present.

   From start to finish Ben and Jo from Barrel top Waggons have been Fantastic. Every query was dealt with patiently and swiftly, communication throughout has been exceptional. Help was given with planning and recommendations for groundwork (Waite’s groundwork).
Ben and his teams craftsmanship is beautiful and we now have a very special space for friends and family to use. We cannot recommend Barrel top Waggons highly enough.

Making

The Cabin Company continue to make beautiful structures, from garden huts to substantial homes, as well as bespoke carpentry pieces using sustainably sourced, high-quality wood from the South-West.

Milling

Our Milling service transforms locally harvested English softwoods and hardwoods into high-grade timber, expertly milled and air-dried at our Devon workshop, ensuring top-quality materials for your woodworking projects.

Supply

Our Supply service provides high-grade timber, available as raw materials or bespoke finished products, allowing you to bring the craftsmanship of The Cabin Company into your own projects.

These guys Jo and Ben are completely amazing. They helped create the most amazing garden room for us. Right through the process from help with planning stages, advice from surveyor, design and build to the most amazing standard. The quality and craftsmanship of the finished article are outstanding. In 2016, The Cabin Company started Devon Dens, an off-grid woodland with two cosy timber cabins for year-round accommodation. It offers guests a nature retreat, serving as a show site for potential clients to experience our work and designs.
